Description

The module covers experiments from the core areas of experimental cognitive psychology, including such areas as perception, learning, memory, thinking, language, consciousness and cognitive neuropsychology. The emphasis of the module is in understanding how psychological theories are created and tested by experiments on behaviour. The course will focus on biases and confounds that are common when using experimental evidence from behaviour to construct psychological theories.
